Gillie Hoyte Byrom has won numerous awards for her enamel miniatures both in the UK and abroad. |

| Gillie won the top award in enamel painting in the Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Council competition for fifteen years in succession, together with the Jacques Cartier Memorial Award in 2007 and Special Awards for excellence on five occasions.
She has also received high commendations from the Royal Miniaturist's Society, has won the Bell Award for Best Portrait from the Hilliard Society and the award for Painting and Drawing at the 2005 South West Academy Exhibition. |

In April 2000 Gillie had her first solo exhibition in London at the OXO Tower Wharf on the South Bank.
This was at the invitation of Studio Fusion, Britain's leading Enamelling Gallery where she showed some 50 of her portrait miniatures kindly loaned by clients who have commissioned her enamels over the years. |
